How to Add a Custom Clause to a Rental Contract?

A custom clause allows you to add special terms and conditions specific to a rental contract. This clause can be updated directly from the contract detail page.

Steps to Add a Custom Clause:

1. Navigate to the Contract Detail Page: Start by going to the specific contract detail page where you want to add the custom clause.
   
2. Access the Document Section: Look for the "Document" section on the contract detail page.
   
3. Add a Custom Clause: Click on the "(+)" icon and select "Update Custom Clause."
   

Customize the Clause:

1. A pop-up window will appear where you can input the specific terms and conditions for the custom clause. 
   
2. Once you've entered the details, save the clause.
   

Binding the Clause:

1. The custom clause will automatically be added to the rental contract only if this configuration has already been set up in the backend.
   
2. The updated contract, including the custom clause, will be available for the tenant to review and sign.

This ensures that any specific terms unique to a tenant's rental agreement are clearly documented and legally binding.
