How to Add Insurance to an Active Contract?
To ensure that tenants' belongings are protected, you can easily add an insurance policy to an active contract. Follow these steps to add insurance coverage:
Step 1: Access the Contract Detail Page:
- Navigate to the Contract Detail Page for the specific contract to which you want to add insurance coverage.
- Scroll down to find the Subscription section on the detail page.
Step 2: Add Insurance Coverage:
- In the Subscription section, click on the (+) button labelled "Add Insurance".
- A side drawer window will open, displaying the list of Insurance Coverage options configured in your account.
- Select the radio button corresponding to the specific insurance coverage you want to add to the contract.
- Once you’ve selected the desired insurance coverage, apply the changes to include this insurance in the contract.
Note: The insurance premium will be included in the next invoice generated for the tenant.
Step 3: Manage Insurance Coverage:
3.1. Unlink Insurance:
If the tenant decides to unsubscribe from the insurance, you have the option to unlink the insurance from the contract.
This can be done by locating the insurance in the Subscription section and selecting the option to remove it.
3.2. Delete Insurance:
Next to the service, you will see a three dots icon (also known as an "ellipsis" or "more options" menu). Click on this icon.
Click on "Delete Insurance" button.
3.3. Revise Insurance Premium:
You can also revise the price of the insurance premium associated with the specific contract. The system provides a feature to update the premium amount if necessary.
3.4. View Price Revision History:
There is also a provision to view the history of price revisions for the insurance premium, allowing you to track any changes that have been made over time.
By following these steps, you can efficiently manage insurance coverage for active contracts. Adding insurance, revising premiums, and managing subscriptions are straightforward processes that ensure tenants' belongings are adequately protected and that insurance premiums are accurately reflected in their invoices.
