How to change Contract Status?
Changing the contract status is a critical task that should only be done when absolutely necessary.
Step 1: Navigate to the Contract Detail Page:
- Access the Contract Detail Page: Begin by navigating to the Contract Detail Page of the specific tenant.
- Find the Box Information Section: Look for the Box Information section. This section contains key details about the tenant's storage unit and contract status.
- Locate the Change Icon: On the right side of the Box Information section, you will see a Change Icon (often represented as a pencil or edit icon).
- Click the Change Icon: Click on the Change Icon to open the option to modify the contract status.
- Select the Desired Status: Choose the new status from the available options in the dropdown menu.
- Confirm the Change: After selecting the new status, confirm the change by clicking the appropriate button, typically labelled Save or Apply.
Important Note:
- Automatic Status Changes: Contract statuses are usually updated automatically based on various factors such as booking updates, unpaid invoices, and other system triggers.
- Caution: It is advised to refrain from manually changing the contract status unless absolutely necessary, as it can interfere with the automated processes.
