How to Transfer a Unit from an Active Contract?

The transfer unit functionality allows the user to transfer from one unit to another at any time during the contract period. Follow these steps to transfer a unit for an active contract:

Navigate to the Contract Detail Page:
  1. Access the specific contract detail page where the unit transfer is required.
Click on "Transfer Unit":
  1. Locate and click the "Transfer Unit" button on the contract detail page.


Select Facility and Level:
  1. A side drawer will open where you can choose the Storage Category (optional), Facility (Building) and Level (Floors) for the new unit.
  2. A list of available units will be displayed. Select the preferred unit for the transfer.


Adjust Add-Ons and Transactions:
  1. A pop-up window will appear, allowing you to choose the date of transfer and enable or disable existing add-ons to continue with the new unit.
Confirm the Transfer:
  1. Click on "Confirm" to proceed with the transfer. The transaction will be prorated by generating an invoice or credit note, and the system will schedule the move-out of the old contract.


Validate the Move-In Details:
  1. You will be redirected to the Activity detail page, where you can validate the move-in details of the new unit.


Initiate the Move-In Process:
  1. Click on the "Move In with Invoice" option to initiate the move-in process for the new unit. The old contract status will automatically be changed to "Closed."


Review Payment Options:
  1. A pop-up window will open, allowing you to verify the options to include in the link and enable the "Pay Now" button to choose the preferred payment options.


Complete the Move-In Process:
  1. An email will be sent with a link for the tenant to complete the move-in process.


By following these steps, you can successfully transfer a unit for an active contract.
