How to Manually Charge Unpaid Invoices via Card/SEPA?
Follow these steps to manually charge a customer for an unpaid invoice using Card or SEPA:
Navigate to the Contract Detail Page:
- Go to the specific contract detail page associated with the customer.
Access the Transaction Section:
- Look for the Transaction section within the contract detail page. and within the Ledger section, locate the three-line icon to initiate payment for consolidated balance of all unpaid invoices.
- Alternatively, user can initiate payment for one specific invoice from the sub menu invoice or the specific invoice detail page.
Initiate Payment:
- Click on the three-line icon and select the "Initiate Payment" option from the dropdown menu.
- A pop-up window will appear. In this window, you can verify the default payment mode (Card or SEPA) and click the Save button to initiate the payment.
Receipt Generation:
- For Card payments, the receipt will be generated immediately.
- For SEPA payments, the receipt will be generated after 2-3 days, once a response is received from the payment gateway.
Email Confirmation:
- Once the payment is successful, an email with the receipt attached will be sent to the customer.
- If the payment fails, the customer will receive a payment failure email.
