How to Create a Lead?

Creating a lead in StoRegister allows you to reserve a unit for a prospective tenant without confirming the move-in. This is ideal when the customer is still deciding or planning ahead.

Steps to Create a Lead:

1. Access the Create Move-In Option

  • From the top menu, click the Create (+) button.

  • Select Create Move-In from the dropdown list.

2. Select Property and Business

  • If your account manages multiple properties or business entities, you’ll be prompted to choose:

    • Property – where the tenant is interested in moving.

    • Business – the business unit under which the lead will be created.

3. Create or Select a Contact

  • You can either:

    • Click Create Contact to add a new lead’s details (name, email, phone).

    • Or choose an Existing Contact from the system.

4. Choose Preferred Box (Unit)

  • A side drawer will open with a list of available units.

  • Use Advanced Filters to narrow your selection:

    • Building

    • Floor

    • Storage Category

    • Size

    • Unit Status (Vacant, Reserved, etc.)

  • Choose the preferred unit.

Detail Overview

Here, you can review and configure the selected unit:

  • View Box Details – Size, Rent, Security Deposit.

  • Add Add-ons – Select optional services:

    • Service Plans

    • Insurance

    • Merchandise (like packing supplies)

  • Apply Discount – Add promotional or manual discounts if applicable.

  • Add Multiple Units – If the customer wants to book more than one unit, you can add additional boxes.

Check-In Information

On the left side of the screen, you can configure check-in preferences:

  • Expected Move-In Date

  • Length of Stay

  • Payment Mode – e.g., Credit Card, Cash, Bank Transfer

  • Recurring Period – e.g., Monthly, Weekly

  • Invoice Cycle

  • Invoice Aging Days – Set due period for payment reminders

Finalize Lead Creation

Once all unit, contact, and check-in details are set:

  • Click Proceed to Create Lead.


Lead Detail Page Overview

The Lead Detail Page in StoRegister offers a complete set of tools to manage prospective tenants effectively — from sending quotes to tracking communication and scheduling appointments.

Here’s a breakdown of the available sections and their functions:

Sending Quotes

  • Send Quote for Move-In Invoice and Recurring Invoice directly from the Lead Detail Page.

  • Users can generate and send quotes for:

    • First Invoice (Move-in-related charges).

    • Recurring Invoice (regular rental charges).


Box Information Tab

  • Allows users to set custom pricing for:

    • Rental Price

    • Security Deposit

    • Admin Fee

  • Users can also link Add-ons such as Insurance, Services, and Merchandise to the box.

  • This ensures the quote reflects all the services and offers being proposed.


Notes Section

  • Allows users to add notes specific to the lead.

  • Important: These notes are only associated with the lead and not saved under the contact profile.

  • Useful for recording lead-specific preferences, objections, or special requests.


Follow-up Tab

  • Enables users to track follow-ups with the lead.

  • Users can record communication updates and schedule future follow-ups to increase conversion chances.

  • A critical tool to keep your pipeline active and organized.


Appointment Tab

  • Set up Appointments with the prospective lead.

  • Appointments can be:

    • Created for yourself.

    • Scheduled on behalf of other users (e.g., assign a colleague to meet the lead).

  • Helps in organizing viewings, meetings, or calls directly linked to the lead.


Quotation Tab

  • Displays a list of all quotes sent to the lead.

  • Provides a full history for easy reference and follow-up.

  • Helpful to track which options have been offered and their status.

The Lead Detail Page is your command center for managing prospects — send personalized quotes, adjust pricing, schedule appointments, and maintain detailed communication records to maximize your conversion rates!
