How to Create a Move-In or Contract?
The Move-In process in StoRegister Sleek enables you to onboard tenants by assigning storage units, configuring billing, and generating invoices and contracts—all within a single workflow.
Step 1: Navigate to the Move-In Section
From the top menu, click on Create
Select Create Move-In from the dropdown
Step 2: Select Business & Property
Choose the Property (if multiple properties exist)
Select the Business (if applicable)
Select the Storage Type
Select an Existing Contact
OR
Click Create New Contact to add tenant details
Step 4: Select Storage Unit:
Click on Preferred Box
Use filters to refine selection:
Building
Floor
Storage Category
Size
Unit Status
Select the unit to proceed to the details page
Step 5: Review Unit & Add-ons
Review:
Add optional:

Services
-
Insurance
-
Merchandise
Apply discounts if required
Add multiple units if needed
Update and review:

Expected Move-In Date

Length of Stay

Payment Mode

Recurring Period
-
Invoice Cycle

Invoice Aging Days
Additional configurations:

Review Move-In Invoice and Recurring Invoice

Modify Pro-rata Type

Add advance payment months (without changing recurring period)

Step 7: Proceed to Move-In
- Click Proceed to Move-In

A confirmation pop-up will appear

Step 8: Move-In Completion
Move-In request email is automatically sent to the tenant

Upon successful completion of the move-in process, the tenant will automatically receive:

Move-In Confirmation Email
Confirms that the move-in process has been successfully completed.

Signed Contract
A copy of the digitally signed lease agreement for their records.

Any additional documents shared during the move-in process (e.g., identity documents, attachments, or agreements).

Payment Receipt (if payment is made)
A receipt confirming the transaction details for the completed payment
