Navigate to Contact Detail Page
Go to the specific contact's detail page from the Contact listing.
Select Property and Business
A pop-up window will prompt you to select the Property and Business related to the credit note.
Redirect to Credit Note Creation Page
After selection, you'll be redirected to the Custom Credit Note page to begin creating the credit note.
Navigate to the Transaction Section
Open the left-hand menu and click on “Transaction” > “Credit Note”.
Select ‘Custom Credit Note’
Choose Custom Credit Note to begin creating a new credit note.
Choose Property, Business, and Contact
On the creation page, select the:
Property
Business
Contact for whom the credit note is being issued
Click “Add Item”
A pop-up window opens to enter the item details:
Description: Enter a brief description of the item/service.
Category (Optional): Select a predefined category if applicable.
Amount: Input the amount to be credited.
Quantity: Enter the number of units.
Default Tax: Applied automatically, but can be toggled on/off.
If applicable:
Link a Discount to the item
Update or override the tax rate based on your requirements
You may also choose from:
Add Service
Add Insurance
Add Merchandise
A side drawer opens where you can select pre-configured items. These selections will auto-fill line item fields, which can still be edited.
Click on “Generate Credit Note”
A pop-up window appears with:
Enable Email Notification toggle (off by default)
Click Confirm to finalize
The credit note is generated and recorded under the contact’s transaction history.
If the email option is enabled, an email with the credit note attached as PDF is sent to the customer automatically.
