Discount Detail Page – Overview and Actions

Understanding the Discount Detail Page

The Discount Detail Page provides all the tools and information you need to manage an existing discount. From here, you can update its validity, enable or disable it, link it to specific units or properties, and view where it has been applied.

1. Update Validity

  • Click Update Validity to change the discount's Valid Till date, or enable/disable Lifetime Validity.

  • This action will immediately update the discount availability for future transactions.

2. Enable/Disable Discount

  • Use the toggle to Enable or Disable the discount.

  • A disabled discount will no longer be applied to new transactions but will remain in historical records for reporting purposes.

This tab allows you to associate the discount with specific storage units or sizes.

Steps to Link a Discount to Boxes/Units:

  1. Navigate to the Boxes tab.

  2. Choose to link the discount by a List of Sizes or a List of Units.

  3. A pop-up window will appear where you can:

    • Category: Select Instore, Online, or Both.

    • Payment Period: Select Monthly or Weekly.

    • Payment Duration: Choose a duration such as Monthly, Quarterly, etc.

  4. Save your selections to link the discount.

4. Active Contracts

  • Displays a list of Active Contracts where this discount is currently applied.

  • Provides visibility into ongoing usage.

5. Closed Contracts

  • Displays a list of Closed Contracts where this discount was previously applied.

  • Useful for historical tracking and reporting.

6. Properties Tab

  • Displays the List of Properties linked to the discount.

  • From here, you can:

    • Link New Properties to make the discount available at additional locations.

    • Delete Linked Properties to restrict availability.


Note: Updates made in the Discount Detail Page take effect immediately and will impact all future eligible transactions.
